Unfortunately, the pool is going to be out of use for a minimum of the next two weeks.
One of the UV lights that helps to kill bacteria in the water shattered over half term. This was due to a faulty/unsuitable product from the manufacturer. There is now glass in the water.
The pool has got to be completely drained (but this can only be done once the water has cooled and can also only be done slowly to try to avoid risk of greater problems with the pool structure). It will then be hoovered, cleaned, the UV lights replaced and then refilled. The pool will then need to have the chemicals added, balanced and be reheated.
I apologise for any inconvenience or frustration caused but unfortunately this is completely out of our control.
